Atlas structural brick is a hollow clay brick product, developed to permit the use of reinforcement in order to enhance the structural characteristics of brick. Reinforcing steel placed in the brick cells is grouted to create resistance to tension. Atlas brick are designed similar to concrete block but with allowable design stresses 2 to 3 times stronger.
