Addition of sales and services leadership, and adjustments to product management, position the company to stay focused on clients while accommodating continued growth.
Albany, NY – Creative Materials Corporation, a supplier of tile, brick, stone, paver systems, and other related building materials for the commercial construction industry, welcomes Stephen Brooke as the new vice president of sales and services. In his new role, Brooke will manage all combined sales and service operations. Effective immediately, Brooke joins Creative Materials’ senior leadership team, and will be based out of Dallas, Texas.
“Stephen has deep roots and an exemplary history in the surfaces industry,” said Ryan Micklus, Creative Materials president & CEO. “We will look to Stephen’s leadership and experience as we lean into our vision of setting a new standard for surface material supply for our clients.”
Brooke comes to Creative Materials with close to 20 years of experience across the architect and design, construction, distribution, manufacturing and sustainability industries. Most recently he was responsible for the sales and marketing of Mosa products for the US market. He was instrumental in contributing to significant revenue growth over four years. Brooke also served three years as NYC regional sales manager for Stone Source, its largest market, and has held numerous leadership positions within the industry throughout the course of his career. He has excelled in building high performing teams.
With the addition of Brooke, Creative Materials will align both sales and services under his leadership. The marketing and product management functions will also now be aligned under the leadership of Jennifer Barbic, director of product and marketing, with Scott Bocketti assuming ownership of product management and procurement of the company’s ceramic, porcelain and glass product category. The changes in internal alignment directly support Creative Materials’ strategy to unify interactions with all clients and stakeholders throughout the end-to-end process of commercial projects. The ultimate goal of the alignment is to help simplify the selection and supply of surface materials on commercial construction projects.
“Creative Materials has a rich history of caring about clients and offering industry-leading services. With growing momentum in the company, there is a tremendous opportunity to harness that momentum and innovate to benefit our clients” says Brooke. “I’m excited to join this amazing, creative team.”
