At Creative Materials, our mission is to help our clients design and build better communities by simplifying the selection and supply of surface materials on commercial construction projects.

This means that our true focus is not simply on the tile, glass, LVT, and other surface materials that we supply. There are many moving parts on commercial construction projects, and that’s where we dig in. For every tile that is specified, there is a client with a vision. For every container of LVT that needs to be delivered, there is a construction manager with a deadline. On every commercial construction project there are a million things that can go right, and a million things that can go wrong. Erin DeMuth | Senior Design Services Consultant

Erin’s background is in interior design. She and her team assist clients with custom tile, LVT, and glass pattern layouts and designs. Sometimes clients find the perfect tile, but need assistance with a coded laying pattern to assist installation professionals.  Sometimes clients are crunched for time and need help visualizing options. Sometimes clients need help adjusting a pattern or understanding nuances of certain collections. Erin’s and her team offer enhanced collaboration with clients to help a vision come to life.

Scott Bocketti | Director of Product Management

Scott’s been in the flooring industry for over 20 years and knows product inside and out…and over and under. Sharing his expertise with clients, Scott and his team help guide clients and internal stakeholders to make smart product decisions based on aesthetic, financial, and technical information. Ken Ahn | Quality Assurance & Technical Team Lead 

He created a video to help OrangeTheory Fitness installers cut and install glass tiles with no breakage. He’s frequently on-site perfecting cleaning programs that work best in harsh environments. He regularly reviews commercial project specifications for clients because he has witnessed first-hand how installation execution can be vastly improved with a detailed and thoughtful specification. From pre-sales estimating and project planning to post-sales customer support and quality control, Ken helps clients throughout the journey. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Ken spent over 10+ years in the Washington D.C. area as a construction manager in the tile and stone industry. He currently serves on the Ceramic Tile Distributors Association’s (CDTA) Technical and Education Committees.

Ken’s blog, Tile Talk, focuses on sharing knowledge from real-world scenarios, providing a meaningful and tangible resource for industry professionals. 



Brian Kile | Manager of Contractor Services & Sales

Anyone working in commercial construction knows that specifying materials takes place at the very front end of the process with many stages to fulfill before anything actually gets built. Brian Kile has focused his team on taking a holistic approach to project management to ensure timelines, project goals, key stakeholders, and project vision are implicitly understood throughout the duration of the project.  His team dives in post-specification and can be counted on to provide timely support during the bid process, and submittal coordination. Most importantly, the team works to ensure that specified materials make it to the jobsite on time and with utmost efficiency while staying mindful of project nuances.  Once supplied, the team continues to support re-orders, warranty information, LEED information, and lien waivers so that projects can close out seamlessly.  His team expertly manages all types of projects, including those with extremely large order quantitiescustomization, and everything in between.

Several years back, 2cm porcelain pavers burst into the commercial market, offering fresh aesthetics beyond traditional concrete pavers. With this surge came an abundance of questions from our clients about proper installation, wind uplift, and when to use 2cm vs standard thickness. With 12+ years of experience, Steve Lasek became our paver division lead, specializing in technical consulting and material sourcing for pavers – both 2cm porcelain and concrete.

Steve assists with the design and supply of exterior paver scopes, including permeable applications, hardscapes, and roof deck and terrace systems. He works in conjunction with our internal sales team, and directly with architects, designers, contractors, and developers. Steve earned his LEED Green Associate credential in 2019 and has written a number of whitepapers on paver-related topics.
