Ryan Micklus | President

Ryan joined Creative Materials in 2013 to spearhead the company’s efforts with respect to strategic growth initiatives. Prior to joining the company, Ryan spent over seven years as a practicing attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, business and financial transactions. His experience helping to lead acquisitions and divestitures allows him to have unique insights into various growth strategies as well as best practices across a multitude of industries. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (cum laude) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University (magna cum laude).


Don Kellish, Chief Executive Officer of Creative Materials

With over 35 years of cumulative experience in the ceramic/porcelain tile industry, Don founded Creative Materials out of a passion to fulfill a need within the multi-location, commercial building industry for a more holistic approach that better connects the manufacturing and distribution functions to the owners, contractors and end users success. He has developed a unique expertise in both the tile supply chain and construction industries and shares this with each of his team members.



Michele Kellish, Executive Vice President of Creative Materials

A founding partner of Creative Materials, Michele holds extensive insight into the workings of the tile and masonry supply industries. Over the past 25 years, she has played a part in almost every company department. Additionally, she oversees company culture and strives to continually improve the work environment for all employees.



Joseph Smith, Director of Operations of Creative Materials


Joseph Smith | Director of Operations

Serving as Director of Operations, Joseph has overall responsibility for the day to day operations of Creative Materials. He oversees all aspects of Creative Materials’ client and customer services, global supply chain and shipping, inventory and warehousing, and generalized operations. While Joseph has been with the company for over twelve years, he brings with him extensive previous experience in operations management for large public companies, including one of the largest MRI manufacturers in the world. Joseph holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Philosophy from The Catholic University of America (cum laude).


Jill McCoskey, Director of Finance of Creative Materials


Jill McCoskey | Director of Finance

Jill joined Creative Materials in 2015 as Director of Finance after an extensive career working in top finance positions with various large public and private companies. Most recently, she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller for Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG). Jill’s career also includes experience having worked with leading global companies such as Philips Medical Systems, PepsiCo, Texaco and Seagrams. Jill holds a Master of Business Administrations from the University at Albany and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Clarkson University.



Scott Bocketti, Director of Sales

Scott joined Creative Materials in 2000 working in inside national account sales. He quickly learned the ins and outs of the tile industry, progressing through inside sales to outside sales and finally to sales management where he currently serves as the company’s Director of Sales. In his 15+ years with the company, Scott has overseen some of the company’s largest accounts including Five Guys, Panera Bread, Starbucks and Porsche Cars North America. In his current role, Scott oversees all aspects of both the National Account and Architecture & Design sales teams.


Jean Sullivan, Director of Business Process OptimizationJean Sullivan | Director of Business Process Optimization

Jean joined the Creative Materials team in 2017 as the Director of Business Process Optimization working to optimize the way Creative Materials goes to business. Prior to joining the company, Jean was Vice President of Operations at Integra Optics where she led multiple teams such as Software Development, IT and Logistics. Jean also worked at Time Warner Cable for close to 10 years where she developed a history of robustly assessing and modifying business procedures, software and systems to optimize operational processes. While at both companies, Jean also managed large construction projects working with architects, contractors and designers. Jean holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the State University College at Oneonta. 


Craig Lansley, Director of Client ServicesCraig Lansley | Director of Client Services

Craig joined Creative Materials in 2015 to oversee and develop the newly created Client Services department. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Craig spent eleven years working for Survey Sampling International (SSI), the premier, global provider of data collection and market research. Working his way up to Vice President of Client Services, Craig helped guide the growth and development of a newly created Client Services department and was also integral to building out SSI’s physical West Coast operation from its inception in 2006. Craig also spent three years as the Campus Director of SBB College’s Rancho Mirage, California campus. Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management from RPI.



Jennifer Barbic | Director of Marketing

Jennifer Barbic joined the Creative Materials team in 2016 as Director of Marketing. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Jennifer spent several years working for an emerging player in the technology sector that specializes in building integrated environments for large, multi-national corporations. Additionally, Jennifer worked for over 10 years at Cengage Learning, where she gained her experience by holding marketing positions with increasing responsibilities. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Albany, and is a member of the New York Capital Region American Marketing Association (NYCRAMA).
