Ryan Micklus | President & CEO
Ryan joined Creative Materials in 2013 to spearhead the company’s efforts with respect to strategic growth initiatives, and in 2019 he assumed ownership of the company. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Ryan spent over seven years as a practicing attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, business and financial transactions. His experience helping to lead acquisitions and divestitures allows him to have unique insights into various growth strategies as well as best practices across a multitude of industries. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (cum laude) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University (magna cum laude).
Jennifer Barbic | Director of Product & Marketing
Jennifer Barbic joined Creative Materials Corporation in 2016 as Director of Marketing. In 2019 she was promoted to Director of Product & Marketing, overseeing the marketing, product management, and design services functions. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Jennifer spent several years working for an emerging player in the technology sector that specializes in building integrated environments for large, multi-national corporations. Additionally, Jennifer worked for over 10 years at Cengage Learning, where she gained her experience by holding marketing positions with increasing responsibilities. Jennifer holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English from the State University of New York (SUNY) and is also currently serving as Executive Vice President of Marketing & Communications on the New York Capital Region Chapter of the American Marketing Association.
Kelly Gatta | Director of Human Resources
Kelly Gatta joined Creative Materials Corporation in 2019 as Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining, Kelly spent ten years progressing in roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources at General Electric. Through those years she was able to build a solid HR foundation and provide leadership through a variety of business cycles in an industrial, corporate, and shared services setting. Additionally, Kelly brings experience prior to GE as an HR Leader of a smaller privately owned organization that sells and services industrial food equipment. Kelly hold’s a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland and an MBA as well as Certificate in HR Management from Union Graduate College. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Women@Work.
Craig Lansley | Director of Client Services
Craig joined Creative Materials in 2015 to oversee and develop the newly created Client Services department. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Craig spent eleven years working for Survey Sampling International (SSI), the premier, global provider of data collection and market research. Working his way up to Vice President of Client Services, Craig helped guide the growth and development of a newly created Client Services department and was also integral to building out SSI’s physical West Coast operation from its inception in 2006. Craig also spent three years as the Campus Director of SBB College’s Rancho Mirage, California campus. Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management from RPI.
Jonathan Madden | Director of Business Process Optimization
Jonathan joined Creative Materials in 2020 and is primarily focused on optimizing the way Creative Materials goes to business. Prior to joining the company, Jonathan was Director of Information Technology and Process Engineering at Logistics One for 15 years, where he led numerous projects related to process improvement, software implementation, logistics development, and computer/networking infrastructure. Jonathan holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Siena College (cum laude), is a Capital Leadership graduate, a 40 under 40 recipient from the Capital District Business Review, and a proud BSA Fort Orange District Award of Merit recipient.
Jill McCoskey | Director of Finance
Jill joined Creative Materials in 2015 as Director of Finance after an extensive career working in top finance positions with various large public and private companies. Most recently, she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller for Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG). Jill’s career also includes experience having worked with leading global companies such as Philips Medical Systems, PepsiCo, Texaco and Seagrams. Jill holds a Master of Business Administrations from the University at Albany and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Clarkson University.
