Ryan Micklus, President of Creative Materials

Ryan Micklus | President & CEO

Ryan joined Creative Materials in 2013 to spearhead the company’s efforts with respect to strategic growth initiatives, and in 2019 he assumed ownership of the company. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Ryan spent over seven years as a practicing attorney specializing in mergers and acquisitions, venture capital and private equity, business and financial transactions. His experience helping to lead acquisitions and divestitures allows him to have unique insights into various growth strategies as well as best practices across a multitude of industries. Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School (cum laude) and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Cornell University (magna cum laude).

Kelly Gatta | Chief Operations & People Officer

As Chief Operations & People Officer, Kelly is responsible for the operations of the company, as well as talent and organizational strategies. She brings over 10 years of experience to Creative Materials, initially joining in 2019 as the Director of Human Resources. Prior to joining, Kelly progressed in roles of increasing responsibility in Human Resources and Operations at General Electric. Through those years, she was able to build both a solid HR and Operational foundation – including experience with lean methodologies, six sigma, and agile – focusing on organizational performance and growth. She has leadership experience in industrial, corporate, and shared services organizations as well as experience in publicly traded, privately-owned, and non-profit settings. Additionally, Kelly brings experience prior to GE as an HR Leader of a privately owned organization that sells and services industrial food equipment. Kelly holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the State University of New York (SUNY) at Cortland and an MBA as well as a Certificate in HR Management from Union Graduate College. She is also a member of the Society for Human Resources Management (SHRM) and Women@Work.             LinkedIn

Scott Bocketti | Director of Product Management

Scott Bocketti | Director of Product Management

Scott joined Creative Materials in 2000 working inside national account sales. He quickly learned the ins and outs of the tile industry, progressing to Director of Sales, and leading the company’s growth and new market expansion until 2019. In his 20+ years with the company, Scott has overseen some of the company’s largest accounts, including Five Guys, Panera Bread, Starbucks, and Porsche Cars North America. In 2019 Scott took on the role of Product Category Manager – Ceramics and Glass to streamline the curation and management of Creative’s extensive ceramic and glass tile selection. In his current role as Director of Product Management, along with the Ceramics and Glass product categories, Scott is also leading the expansion of Creative Material’s LVT product category.

Craig Lansley | Director of Client ServicesCraig Lansley, Director of Client Services

Craig joined Creative Materials in 2015 to oversee and develop the newly created Client Services department. Prior to joining Creative Materials, Craig spent eleven years working for Survey Sampling International (SSI), the premier, global provider of data collection and market research. Working his way up to Vice President of Client Services, Craig helped guide the growth and development of a newly created Client Services department and was also integral to building out SSI’s physical West Coast operation from its inception in 2006. Craig also spent three years as the Campus Director of SBB College’s Rancho Mirage, California campus. Craig holds a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Management from RPI.

Jill McCoskey, Director of Finance of Creative Materials

Jill McCoskey | Director of Finance

Jill joined Creative Materials in 2015 as Director of Finance after an extensive career working in top finance positions with various large public and private companies. Most recently, she served as Chief Accounting Officer and Corporate Controller for Plug Power (NASDAQ: PLUG). Jill’s career also includes experience having worked with leading global companies such as Philips Medical Systems, PepsiCo, Texaco and Seagrams. Jill holds a Master of Business Administrations from the University at Albany and a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Accounting from Clarkson University.
