Renga

Designed by Vincent Van Duysen, Renga from Mutina reimagines the traditional masonry brick as a sculptural architectural element. Named after the Japanese form of chain poetry, the collection celebrates repetition, rhythm, and connection through a single three-dimensional porcelain stoneware module. Conceived as both a partition brick and a standalone architectural object, Renga creates spaces defined by light, shadow, and material expression rather than ornamentation.

Inspired by the timeless language of masonry, Renga features a vertical form softened by rounded cylindrical corners that introduce a sense of balance and refinement. Produced using an artisanal casting process with colored unglazed porcelain stoneware, each piece features a matte, tactile surface and subtle tonal variation, lending installations an authentic handcrafted character. Available in Ivory, Grey, and Brown, the collection offers a restrained palette that complements contemporary commercial interiors while allowing architectural form to take center stage.
